Transforming into Link
Transforming into Link using the Chief Sword opens up a whole new world of design possibilities for creators. Using his arrows, Link can shoot far off switches that Mario would normally non be able to hit. His new downwardly thrust move with the sword will defeat unremarkably protected enemies like spike-covered Spinies. And with bombs, some walls that would commonly exist impassable past Mario and friends can easily be blown up.
Ninji Speedruns fashion
In the new Ninji Speedruns fashion*, players tin can take on a timed challenge in courses created by Nintendo exclusively for this way. Other players' Ninji Ghosts will run alongside players as they compete against rivals from around the world. Players tin also collect stamps by clearing courses and redeem them in-game to get special Mii costumes.
Dash Block
Available in the Super Mario 3D Globe style, the Dash Block course office gives Mario a major speed burst.
Frozen Money
These coins are surrounded by a cake of ice and can but be released if melted by fireballs or other burn down elements, including a certain angry dominicus.
P Block
When a P Switch is hitting in the course, invisible P Blocks temporarily turn into hard platforms, or vice-versa.
Spike
Fasten is a classic enemy who coughs up massive fasten balls and launches them at Mario. If used in the snowfall environment, Spike will toss snowballs instead!
Pokey
The iconic stacked cactus from multiple Super Mario games joins Super Mario Maker 2 for the first fourth dimension. Players tin even edit the height of each Pokey.
